This award aims to recognise ESPID members who have excelled in education and training in paediatric infectious diseases.
A maximum of one award will be made in any one year but the award will only be made in years when a nomination judged to be of sufficiently high calibre is received.
This award seeks to recognise those who have achieved success in undergraduate and/or postgraduate education in the discipline of paediatric infectious diseases. The society is particularly keen to recognise innovation and reach, including but not limited to, development and implementation of new teaching courses and methods.
Although not limited by age or qualification the award is intended to recognise unusually effective, sustained or committed efforts and, in general, to be seen as a mark of high achievement and honour.
The winner will give a short presentation of her/his work at the ESPID annual meeting.
